This sacred site has very special root where the ringlet of Mata Sati is believed to have fallen after the destruction of her body. Named after its role in protecting the Brajwasis from demons, the mystical aura of protection captivates every visitor. The Bhuteshwar Mahadev Temple opens at 5:30 am in the morning and get closed by 10:30 pm after the shayan aarti and bhog aarti. Though this ancient temple remains open throughout the year, but October to March is considered as best time to visit Mathura and visit all religious temples.
