It is enough time to see Gokul, Mathura, Vrindavan, Govardhan, Barsana, and Nandgaon properly, and still spend a full day in Ayodhya, without the darshan or the drives feeling rushed. If you only want Mathura and Vrindavan, a 3-day trip covers that fine, but Ayodhya adds real distance, so plan on at least 2 more days for that leg.

5-Day Complete Itinerary Mathura-Vrindavan-Ayodhya Tour

Mathura-Vrindavan-Ayodhya Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Mathura Arrival

Pickup is from Delhi, Agra, or Mathura Railway Station, wherever you are coming from. From there it is off to Mathura for Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple and Dwarkadheesh Temple. By the time we’re done, evening rolls in and we catch the Yamuna Aarti at Vishram Ghat. If you are coming from western India, a Mathura-Vrindavan tour package from Ahmedabad is easy enough to arrange. A Mathura-Vrindavan Tour Package from Kolkata works the same way: fly into Delhi first, then follow the same Gokul-to-Ayodhya route described above.

Best Time to Visit

The best time to go is between October and March, when the weather across Mathura, Vrindavan, and Ayodhya is cool and easy to travel in. If crowds do not bother you, try planning around Janmashtami in Mathura-Vrindavan or Ram Navami in Ayodhya.
